About

Text-based learning may be a challenge, but if there’s one thing I know and love, it’s how to construct or solve a maze. As a child I submitted to a battery of tests to pinpoint my learning differences and it was with mazes that I tested off the charts. So it’s no accident that the complex construction and elegance of a maze shines through in my works. Chaotic assemblages of lines and forms build contradicting parallel planes that present a snapshot perspective of a virtual abstract space. With bold but precise strokes and strong lines traversing each canvas, these works reflect how I take the world and put it into a form I can understand. Within their sometime subtle differences, I see a reflection of my own feelings.
